For prep, make sure your hair is at least the length of a grain of rice/ 1/4 of an inch, usually 2–3 weeks of growth, but longer is 100% fine as well and is actually easier to wax! Gently exfoliate 24 hours before your appointment so that hairs are not stuck underneath the skin. I really like my clients to focus on the pubic mound and inner labia because those spots tend to have stuck hairs the most! But as always, just be gentle! You can use an exfoliating glove, loofah, gentle (intimate area safe) scrub, or whatever you normally use to exfoliate. I will recommend some good products for aftercare at the end of your appointment! Stay hydrated and wear loose-fitting clothing on the day of your appointment as well. You can also take an ibuprofen about 30 minutes before to help with possible inflammation afterward. Avoid caffeine, as it can make things feel a bit more sensitive.

Typically, waxing results leave you completely bare for 1-2 weeks. As you continue to wax, some people even see results up to 3 weeks. Everyone is different!

Yes! You absolutely can get waxed on your period. I ask you to wear a tampon or menstrual cup to avoid leakage!

Intimate waxing services are only available for clients with vulva anatomy. This is because my training and experience in intimate waxing are specific to vulva anatomy. The vulva is the assigned female-at-birth anatomy. The vulva includes the pubic mound and inner/outer labia. This is a respectful way for me to specify I am unable to wax the penis and scrotum. I choose to word it this way to be inclusive of those who may not identify with the label of “female anatomy”.

I offer most waxing services for men. However, intimate waxing services are only available for clients with vulva anatomy. This is because my training and experience in intimate waxing are specific to vulva anatomy. I am happy to provide all other waxing services for male clients and am committed to creating and comfortable experience for everyone. A good rule of thumb to know if I offer a specific service for men is “do I have to take my undergarments off for a waxer to access the hair I am wanting removed?” If the answer is yes, I am unfortunately unable to offer that specific service for anyone without vulva anatomy.
