Skin Care 101

A Wisteria Beauty Spa Party is more than just a party! It's a fun, hands-on, educational experience that helps every guest feel pampered, confident in their knowledge, and extra special!

As a licensed esthetician, I love creating a welcoming, positive environment where guests can relax, have fun, and learn something new. Every spa party is designed to be educational, age-appropriate, and pressure-free, allowing each guest to participate at their own comfort level. If there's a step they aren't comfortable with, they can simply skip it.

During this 35-40 minute spa experience, each guest will enjoy:

• A gentle first cleanse

• A bubbly second cleanse

• A face mask of their choice based on their skin type

• A warm steamed towel for that spa experience

• A lip scrub and nourishing lip balm

• A hydrating facial mist

• A moisturizer fit for their skin type to leave their skin feeling soft and refreshed

• For an additional $15 per guest, add on a relaxing hand/arm treatment performed by a trained esthetician. This includes a scrub, oil massage, and hydrating body lotion. Please select the option to add this when filling out the interest form.

As we go through each step together, I explain why it's important, how to understand your skin, and share simple, healthy skincare habits that teens can use now and continue as they grow. This is a fun experience for all, but also very educational!

Every guest leaves feeling like a VIP! With glowing skin, new skincare knowledge, and the confidence that comes from learning how to care for themselves. It's the perfect combination of fun, relaxation, education, and a little spa day magic that creates lasting memories for everyone involved!

Each teen has their own spa station, complete with a mirror and a personalized tray filled with everything they'll need for their facial. Their tray includes a small palette with divets for two gentle cleansers, a face mask, and a moisturizer, along with a refreshing hydrating facial mist in a spray bottle, a lip scrub, and a nourishing lip balm.

To make the experience even more fun and interactive, each guest also receives a bowl of water with soft facial sponges, a mixing bowl to create their bubbly cleanser, a fluffy brush to apply the foam, and a spa spatula for applying their face mask. Having their own spa station allows every guest to feel like they're enjoying a real spa day while learning healthy skincare habits in a fun, hands-on way.

The spa fun doesn't end when the party is over! Each teen gets to take home their spa headband, a package of under-eye masks, their hydrating facial mist, nourishing lip balm, and their personal lip scrub so they can continue practicing self-care at home and remember their special spa day long after the celebration ends.

To help ensure a fun and smooth spa party experience, the event host is asked to provide a comfortable area for guests to gather. A table with chairs is ideal, but any space where each guest has room to participate comfortably will work.

The host will also need to provide access to a water source and electrical outlet for prep before the event begins. The water is used for expanding compressed facial sponges, wetting towels, and filling water bowls, while the electrical outlet is for the hot towel warmer. Please provide a space for the towel warmer to sit as well, even if that is a cleared spot on the floor.

If choosing to add on the hand/arm treatment, please note that the scrub will need to be washed off in a sink before performing the next steps.

Before the party begins, a parent or legal guardian for each participating guest must complete the required consent form. This form includes important information such as the guest’s name, age, known allergies or skin sensitivities, emergency contact information, and permission to participate in the spa activities. Completing these forms in advance helps ensure a safe, enjoyable experience for every guest.

To get started, please complete the interest form with all of the required information. Once I receive your submission, I'll contact you to discuss availability. If I'm unable to accommodate your requested dates, I'll let you know as soon as possible.

Because I maintain a busy in-spa schedule, I am typically booked 6–8 weeks in advance, with weekend availability often filling up 8–10 weeks ahead. To increase the likelihood that I can accommodate your event, please include several possible dates on your interest form.

If I'm able to accommodate your event, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your date. The deposit is due two weeks before the event, and the remaining balance is due on the day of the party.

Please choose the spa party package that best fits the age of the teen being celebrated or the age of the teen whose parent or guardian is booking the event. This helps ensure that all activities and skincare products are appropriate, enjoyable, and tailored to the group's age.

I am based in Indianapolis, Indiana. From my spa (8802 Madison Avenue, Suite G), I will travel up to 45 minutes one way. For anything more than that, a travel fee of $15 per extra 10 minutes of drive time is applied.
