Hey there! I am Taylor Rouse, the esthetician and owner of Wisteria Beauty in Indianapolis, IN! What started as just an idea in my head while working as a commission-based esthetician back in 2024 has blossomed into something I am so incredibly proud of: a space built on connection, confidence, and helping others feel their best in their skin.

Through long days at the spa, late nights learning and growing, and the journey of building my own business, I have discovered just how rewarding it is to create meaningful relationships with my clients and be a part of their skincare journey. My goal is to provide a relaxing, personalized, and safe experience where you feel cared for while achieving healthy and glowing skin!

A little bit about me! I am 21 years old and grew up in Whiteland, Indiana! I graduated from Whiteland Community High School (Go Warriors!) in 2023! In high school, I definitely steered more towards the creative side of academics! From varsity show choir to art classes, anything creative… you can bet I was there! I even went as far as doing so many ceramics classes that my art teacher had to create extra courses, so some other students and I could continue in her class the next year as well! I submitted artwork to the Johnson County Fair in 2023 and was named grand champion as well!

After high school, the plan was to take a gap year and then start college to become a teacher. Well… you can see I did not go through with that plan! I took one online Ivy Tech course and realized college-level classes were not going to be my thing… at all. I don’t exactly remember how the thought came to my head about pursuing esthetics, but it must’ve been during the countless hours of doomscrolling through TikTok. This was not the first time I had thought about this as a career, but I think this is the first time I truly took it seriously. I found a college online and told my parents. I was enrolled in a class just 2.5 months from that day! I truly did not put much thought into it because I knew deep down this is exactly what I wanted to do. Looking back, I should’ve done so much more research, but it all worked out in the end.

After esthetics school, I found myself working for a gal in Greenwood! I met my best friend while working there too, which is such a blessing in itself. I worked there for about 8 months before starting to plan how I could open my own business. April 1st 2025 rolled around, and Wisteria Beauty was officially open for business! I have been at the spa almost every day since then! There is always something to do!
